The book makes the test sound REALLY hard. It's not. I'd say the bulk of the questions are more common sense.

I had to take the HESI as an entrance exam for nursing school (this book contains guides for many of the tests used for nursing programs and discusses their differences briefly). This guide made me feel much more prepared-- it provides some recommendations and reminders for math that you haven't had to do in a while, as well as the logic behind picking answers for the different English sections. Overall, this is a great guide that I would recommend to those looking to get a good grade on their entrance exams.
